Document Map In MS Word 2007

Trying to find out a topic in a huge word file? Well, MS Word comes with a functionality of “Document Map” which will help you reach your desired topic in a flash of a second. You might be thinking that “Find” option there, right? Then why go in for this? The reason being that the “Find” option will start searching from the first line to the end of the document whereas the “Document Map” function will make you reach the exact place where you want to be in your word document.
Let's see how: Here we have taken a word document on Nero vision to understand how this feature works. We scroll down the document seeing through every subheading. Now in case you want to look into a specific section of this document. Point to “View”and under “Show/Hide” click on “Document Map”. As soon as you click on Document Map a widow will open placed adjacent to your document, as shown below. As we see above, a “Document Map” window opens listing all the points as topics. You can click on any topic and you will be navigated directly there in the document. For instance, we clicked on”Video/chapter/movie/project” and there you are at the topic itself! Helpful feature and definitely saves a lot of time.
