Attachments In MS Outlook 2007

While sending attachments through mails on Microsoft Outlook 2007, you might have observed that at times the file gets attached to the "Attachment bar" as illustrated below:
And at other times, it gets attached to the body of the message:
The reason behind it is that the file gets attached to the mail as per the format of the mail. It is displayed in the "Format" section under the "Options" tab. Three options are given to choose from:
  • Plain Text
  • HTML
  • Rich Text
In case the mail is drafted in HTML format the file gets attached to the attachment bar.
Whereas if the mail is drafted in “Rich Text” format, the file gets attached in the body of the message. You can change the way files are attached by changing the format of the mail under the options tab.
